The Turtleback case made for the Selvas BLV BrailleSense 6 Mini is a custom leather case designed to perfectly fit the device. It enables seamless utilization of the display while the case remains on, and offers the convenience of a comfortable strap for easy carrying. The top and bottom sections of the case are made from neoprene, providing a non-slip surface for added stability. The top section features a zipper pocket cover with magnet closures, allowing for easy opening and closing. When needed, the zipper pocket cover can be flipped to the rear and securely fastened under the unit, enabling users to utilize the display while on the move. The spacious zipper pocket uses expandable fabric and is ideal for storing earbuds and other items, ensuring their security and protection. The case is equipped with black plastic hooks to enhance security, durability, and safety. Additionally, it features a 3" x 1 3/4" plastic pocket on the inside flap, specifically designed to hold cards. I have to say, this is an extremely well-made case and will definitely protect my BrailleSense 6 Mini for years to come however, I found the product description to be slightly misleading. The description mentioned that on the inside of the top flap, there is a clear plastic pocket. My case did not include this. There is nothing on the inside of the top cover. Also, I wish the cut out on the bottom for the speaker was a little larger. The case that is included with the unit has a better opening for the speaker.
I’ve been a turtleback user for years and love the quality of their holsters for my phones and radios. I just found out about turtleback LV, and have discovered that it seems to be the successor to executive products, at least this case looks like exactly what one of those cases would be. The pocket on the front is big and stretchy enough to hold a coiled set of earbuds, usb-a to usb-c dongle and a charging cable with room to spair. I wear the case with my BS6 mini every day knowing it will protect the unit from damage far better than the stock case would, with the added utility of the pocket! I wish the price could have been lower though but understand given the probably small production runs on a product like this.
