This Turtleback leather carrying case is specifically designed for the Mantis Q40, ensuring a secure fit that prevents any unintended slips. Crafted to accommodate braille users, this custom case allows seamless interaction with the device even while it's enclosed, offering convenient portability through an attached comfortable strap.
We incorporated a non-slip material on the underside to prevent your Q40 from sliding on surfaces. The case incorporates a zippered pocket cover that safeguards the front of your Mantis Q40. This cover can be easily opened or closed using a magnetic closure system. Additionally, the zippered pocket can be flipped to the back and fastened beneath the device, permitting users to employ the Mantis while on the move. The spacious zipper pocket uses expandable fabric and is a safe repository for earbuds and various accessories, providing extra protection and convenient storage.
Boasting remarkable durability and an exceptional design, this case ensures a snug hold on your Mantis Q40. It maintains accessibility to essential ports, such as data ports, headphones, and all keys. The zippered pocket proves handy for storing items like data cards and earbuds. Notably, the keyboard remains accessible even when the cover is open.

I think that the Mantis Q40 case is well built, and there was clearly a lot of thought that went in to making sure that this case was designed for the specific needs of those of us who are braille readers. However, Perhaps a bit more documentation could be given as to how to properly fit the Mantis Q40 in to the case? I'm on my second case, and I have to give special thanks to my dealer for replacing it so quick, because I had popped the threads in trying to fit the first time, even after working with technical support from APH. The tight fit is welcome to be sure, nobody carrying a braille display wants to know that it is not protected. However, the act of fitting the Mantis in to it's case is a challenge, and without proper guidance, the end-user might be afraid that they would damage the case. Special care should be taken to make sure that the user is aware that it is going to take sometime to work the leather so that the Mantis will fit properly. However, the case is truly a work of art.
Nice case, Just what I wanted. Bbut the e-mail that prompts this review had checkboxes with no readable titles, so I dont' know what I clicked. Odd, for a "low vision company".
The case is a very good quality and will certainly keep my mantis Q4 secure.
